AVERO Technologies Inc. ("AVERO," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AVERO autonomous trading platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
Account Information: Email address, name, and hashed password when you create an account.
Trading Data: Trade history, positions, signals, and portfolio performance generated through the platform.
Brokerage Metadata: Account ID and account type from connected brokerages (Public.com, Alpaca). We never receive or store your brokerage login credentials or API keys on our servers — these are stored locally in your environment.
Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction with the dashboard.
Payment Information: Processed entirely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
User data is stored in Aiven PostgreSQL (Google Cloud, Oregon, USA) with SSL-encrypted connections. Password hashes use PBKDF2-SHA256 or bcrypt. JWT tokens expire after 15 minutes. API communication is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. All broker API keys are stored locally in your environment variables, never on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Trading data is retained based on your subscription tier (90 days Starter, 365 days Pro, 730 days Enterprise). Account data is retained until you request deletion. Backups are rotated after 30 days.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting [email protected]. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. EU users have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to object to processing.
We use essential cookies for authentication (JWT storage in localStorage) and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are deployed.
Your data is processed and stored in the United States. For EU users, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal basis for international data transfers.
